Shifts: 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend

Position Summary

As a Behavioral Health RN, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with treatment plans and physician orders

• Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient behavior and physical health

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions

• Transcribe MD orders and review patient charts for accuracy and compliance

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support each patient’s care goals

• Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license (required)

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Strong communication and assessment skills

• Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries

• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings preferred
