Cath Lab Technician

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required with experience in at least two of the following four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
\n• 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
\n• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
\n• Call requirement is based on unit need and will be discussed with nurse manager
\n• Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to all 3 sister hospitals within 20 miles
\n• Block scheduling is not available
\n• Weekend requirements can be discussed with manager
\n• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
\n• Charting system: EPIC
\n• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross) required; RCVT or RCIS preferred; ARRT R and CCI RCIS preferred
\n• Required skills include: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Rotablader Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Sterile Field Maintenance, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Sterile Technique
\n• EKG and Pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
\n• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
\n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
\n• First-time travelers accepted
