Purpose of the Position:
Oppermann Group, a global leader in the
narrow textile manufacturing industry, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager. This individual will grow sales and market share across existing accounts and generate new business with new accounts. They will have end-to-end responsibility for sales pursuits. Key responsibilities will include working across all departments, including senior leadership at our existing and new customers. Critical skills will include leveraging resources across the organization to secure opportunity wins.
Salary Range
$65,000-75,000
Position is remote/ work from home office
Location: Eastern USA preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Proactively identify potential clients and initiate contact and promote Oppermann solutions.
- Develop and maintain
relationships as the primary point of contact for all sales-related activities in the region, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- excellent working relationships with customers and ensure consistent business follow-up.
- Prepare, submit, and close sales deals.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the Companys current and future products and solutions.
- Provide regular updates, accurate territory sales forecasts, monthly status reports, and quarterly sales projection reports.
- Obtain and report on current market information in the region (trends, competition, pricing, etc.)
- Coordinate and participate in exhibitions, conferences, tradeshows, user group meetings, and industry and product webinars.
- Develop and manage sales funnels by monitoring funnel growth, accuracy, and conversion in CRM.
Background & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business/Sales or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
- Strong business acumen
- Understanding of the textile and woven goods industry preferred.
- Capacity to work with all Oppermann internal groups including accounting, production and customer service.
- Salesforce or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up at 50%
- Proficient in Microsoft
programs(Excel, word, etc.)
