Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Kansas City, MO, serving a middle school caseload. This contract role spans the full school year, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for providing direct speech and language therapy to approximately 40 students, supporting their communication development within the K-12 setting.
Qualifications:
- Missouri SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when necessary to deliver services
