Marketing Manager (Full-Stack Generalist)
Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $130k – $150k annually
Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile, high-impact Marketing Manager to serve as the sole internal engine for our marketing department. This is a "hands-on" role for a well-developed generalist who can move seamlessly between high-level strategy and day-to-day creative execution.
You will be responsible for executing the 2026 Marketing Plan for our two primary business units: Golden State Communications (GSC) and Communication Rental Services (CRS). While you are a department of one, you will have the full support of our external agency partner, WebFX, who manages our two websites, SEO development, and all backend analytics.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for brand design, the technical ability to manage HubSpot, and the project management skills to keep a $300k+ annual marketing engine running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
-
Agency Management: Act as the primary liaison for WebFX, ensuring our SEO, SEM, and website development goals stay on track and align with our quarterly sales targets.
-
Creative & Brand Design: Lead the design and development of marketing collateral, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and mission-critical visuals that resonate with our core verticals (School Districts, Construction, Events, etc.).
-
HubSpot Administration/Net Suite: Manage the lead funnel from MQL to SQL. You will oversee email marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and the integration between WebFX analytics and our HubSpot CRM and Net Suite.
-
Content Generation: Develop authority-building content, including long-form blogs, press releases, and organic social media posts (3x weekly) to maintain our position as a preferred Motorola partner.
-
Demand Generation: Execute quarterly Account Based Marketing (ABM) direct mail waves and coordinate regional/national tradeshows and field events.
-
Partner Leverage: Coordinate with Motorola to utilize Co-Op/MDF programs, ensuring all sponsored events and co-branded campaigns are optimized for maximum offset.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
The "Full-Stack" Marketer: Proven experience as a generalist who can handle digital marketing, traditional print/mail, and event management simultaneously.
-
Brand/Design Proficiency: Strong aesthetic sense with the ability to create professional-grade marketing assets (Canva/Adobe Suite).
-
Technical Literacy: Expert-level knowledge of HubSpot and familiarity with navigating Google Analytics/WebFX dashboards to report on ROI and CAC.
-
Project Management: Disciplined ability to manage an annual marketing calendar across two distinct business units with different target segments.
-
Business Acumen: Ability to translate marketing activities into "Marketing-Influenced Pipeline" and "Closed-Won Revenue".
-
Portfolio review required.
