Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A 300-bed hospital in Upstate New York is seeking alicensed Pharmacistto join their inpatient pharmacy team on a short-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to provide prehensive clinical pharmacy services in a collaborative hospital environment.
Ideal candidates will have hospital experience, strong clinical knowledge, and the ability to work closely with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

Verify medication orders and ensure accurate dispensing.

Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding pharmacotherapy.

Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and patient monitoring.

Support safe and efficient pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting.
Qualifications

Active New York State Pharmacist License required.

Prior hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and munication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
