<p>We are seeking a Medical Assistant&nbsp;to become a&nbsp;part of our team!&nbsp;You will perform clinical assignments&nbsp;to keep the medical facility&nbsp;running smoothly.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Type doctors first patient reports, progress notes, discharge reports and request for surgery</li>
<li>Perform routine clinical tasks&nbsp;to support medical staff</li>
<li>Communicate with insurance companies&nbsp;for confirmation of receipt of patient treatment requests</li>
<li>Escort patients to exam rooms and or perform front office duties such as checking in patients</li>
</ul>
<p>​<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in workers compensation healthcare&nbsp;a must</li>
<li>Excellent typing skills 50 wpm or higher</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Spanish speaker&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
