A Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is sought for an elementary school setting in Denver, CO. This contract position spans the entire school year and offers the opportunity to deliver critical speech and language services to young learners, supporting their communication development during foundational educational years.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students. Collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals will be key to creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) aimed at improving student outcomes. The role also involves maintaining thorough documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with school and state regulations.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech-language services in an elementary school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language development
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid licensure or eligibility to practice in Colorado
