Operational Summary
The Office Administrator is the "Control Tower" for our manufacturing cycles. You will ensure the seamless flow of data and materials between Project Managers and the fabrication shop. Your goal is to eliminate bottlenecks by managing the critical documentation and logistics that keep the team moving.
Primary Industrial Functions
- Production Documentation: Execute project startup packets, submittals, and technical shop folders. You will be responsible for compiling manufacturer technical data and final documents for every unit shipped.
- Supply Chain & Logistics: Hot-seat the coordination of raw material deliveries and finished product deliveries. You are the primary point of contact for schedule coordination.
- Workflow Tracking: Maintain the "Live Ledger" of RFIs (request for information), change orders, and shop fabrication orders to ensure the floor is always working off the most current revision.
- Cost Control: Process POs and invoices; help manage inventory levels, equipment rentals, and accurate cost-coding for real-time labor and material tracking.
Operator Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years in a high-volume administrative or production-support role.
- Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in construction or heavy manufacturing is a significant advantage.
- Technical Toolset: Proficient in Google Workspace, MS Office, and the ability to learn Vidor Manufacturing software.
- Communication: Sharp verbal and written skillscapable of talking shop with the team and relaying information to customers.
- Precision: Extreme attention to detail; youre the type of person who catches a spec error before it hits the fabrication line.
