Job DescriptionImpact Signs, a leading Salt Lake City sign company since 1977, crafts custom signage for Utah businesses and communities. Renowned for quality and innovation, we’re seeking Print/Vinyl Shop Specialist to join our team.Responsibilities/Working Environment:

  • Print/laminate/cut/weed/mask and apply signage using squeegee or rollover table.
  • Moderate vehicle wrapping skills (rare).
  • About 50% of your time will be on the computer and rest will be hands on.
  • Most projects you will use provided artwork to create your own production ready files to then send to the machine.
  • Seaming and adding grommets to the occasional banner.
  • Laser cutting and engraving of acrylic and other various materials/items.
  • Shared space 3 designers in a spacious, air-conditioned room.
  • Keeping track of time and materials in our CRM software.
  • Ordering vinyl and materials for your department
  • Occasional off-site projects may be required but are rare.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of vinyl experience.
  • Adobe Illustrator (preferred) or Corel Draw. Moderate-high proficiency
  • Basic knowledge in Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift and move large materials.
  • Available for Monday-Friday schedule - 40 hours a week.

  • HP Latex Printer – Large Format
  • CO2 Laser – 400W
  • Rollover Table
  • Graphtec Plotter 54”
  • Laminator
  • Various hand tools
