Now Hiring: Bookkeeper with Construction Experience
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with solid construction industry experience to join our team.
This position requires someone who understands the unique accounting needs of construction, including job costing, progress billing, subcontractor payments, and tracking expenses by project.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll (including subcontractors)
• Track job costs and maintain accurate project budgets
• Prepare invoices, draws, and lien waivers
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
• Work closely with management to monitor project profitability
Qualifications:
• Proven bookkeeping experience in the construction industry (required)
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting practices
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) or similar software
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
