Medical Receptionist, Part Time
Join a compassionate and professional OB/GYN healthcare team in Lake Barrington, IL dedicated to providing exceptional patient care!
This position is 3 days per week; with alternating Saturdays. Shifts times/days will vary based on the need of the clinic.
Pay $17 to $20/hr with opportunity for merit increases once training is completed.
We’re seeking an organized and friendly Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced medical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical systems
- Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems required . eClinicalWorks highly preferred!
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
