K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Job Near Scotia, NYPosition Overview:

A school district near Scotia, NY has a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) vacancy that they are tryingto fill ASAP. Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with the district to find a qualified SLP that is available for the full 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language impairments.
  • Provide individual and group therapy based on students needs.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student communication in the classroom.
  • Maintain documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with NYSED regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Active New York Speech-Language Pathology License *required
  • New York State teaching certificate in Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSL or TSHH) *required
  • Prior school-based experience *preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
