Position: Accounting
Report to: President
Accounting responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·Daily:
o Maintain accounts payable and receivable
o Maintain Personal/Sick/Vacation Time records
o Sales Invoicing
o Track employee time for payroll purposes
o Monitor bank accounts for unusual activity
o Maintain Receiving Report
o Prepare journal entries as required
o Scan Production Sheets
·Weekly:
o Prepare Aging Report
o Process payroll through ADP
o Process accounts payable check run
o Reconcile petty cash
Monthly:
o Prepare commission report and payments
o Pension payments
o Reconcile bank statements
o Prepare Financials and Sales & Profit Report
o Change accounting period in Sage
Quarterly:
o Prepare Physical Inventory Report
o Prepare Financials and Top 100 Report
o Pay estimated income tax as required
Annually:
o Calculate and pay Non-Qualified Profit Sharing (December & May)
o Coordinate audit
o File 1099’s
o Prepare W/C self-audit
o Prepare Duty Drawback Report as required and file
o Run Sage Year-End Wizard
o Enter budget into Sage
o Prepare Qualified Profit Sharing census
o Maintain files
o Pay sales tax
