Mechanical Inspector - Second Shift
Woburn, MA (Full Time/Direct Hire)
$26-33/hr + 10% Shift Differential
Based in Woburn, we're an assembly based manufacturing facility with a large product catalog of systems and components for use in the aerospace, medical, and defense space.

We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector for our Second Shift operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all mechanical components meet quality standards and specifications through thorough inspections and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize measurement tools to assess the dimensions and tolerances of parts and assemblies.
- Review technical documentation and blueprints to verify conformance to design specifications.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
- Identify and report any defects or issues, proposing solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal quality control procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection or quality control roles.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- Understanding of ISO standards and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
