JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Relationship Manager, Outreach & Recruitment is a key strategic leader responsible for national outreach and recruitment initiatives across UNCF programs, with an emphasis on increasing awareness and engagement in flagship opportunities such as the Fidelity Scholars Program. This role focuses on building and nurturing meaningful relationships with students, educators, and partners, while driving equity, access, and impact through data-informed, student-centered strategies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement multi-state recruitment campaigns targeting high schools, colleges, counselors, and community-based organizations.
- Proactively identify and engage prospective applicants, focusing on increasing applications and participation in UNCF-funded programs.
Influencer & Partner Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain a national network of school counselors, educators, college administrators, and community partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison for strategic partners, creating alignment with UNCF mission and program goals.
Event Management & Facilitation
- Lead the planning and execution of national webinars, in-person recruitment events, campus visits, and community outreach programs.
- Represent UNCF at regional and national conferences and events to expand visibility and influence.
Content Creation & Marketing
- Develop and manage outreach materials including flyers, toolkits, scripts, email campaigns, and videos.
- Craft compelling and culturally resonant messages tailored to students, families, and key stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze application trends and outreach performance
- Prepare reports and insights for internal leadership and external funders on engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
Travel: This position requires up to 50% travel across the United States to visit high schools, colleges/universities, community organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in outreach, recruitment, education, or community engagement
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed for organizational events and work commitments.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
- Experience working with diverse populations, including high school and college students, educators, and community leaders

Salary Range: $76,700.00 To $80,500.00 per year (Salary is commensurate with experience.) This is a hybrid role: 4 days on-site and 1-day remote per week, located in UNCF’s Washington DC Headquarters building.
