A growing mail order pharmacy in Athens, Ohio, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to join their team on a contract basis. This position offers flexibility for either part-time or full-time work, tailored to your availability within the pharmacys operating hours. This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer a verification-focused position with minimal direct patient interaction.
Location:
- Athens, Ohio
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Flexible scheduling available for part-time or full-time candidates within these hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently verify prescriptions in a mail order pharmacy setting
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee the dispensing workflow and maintain quality assurance standards
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
- Clean licensure history with no negative actions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work productively in a mail order pharmacy environment
- Previous experience in prescription verification preferred
