At KVC Missouri, we’re seeking individuals who are deeply committed to child welfare and ready to be a strong voice for children in out-of-home care. As a Foster Care Case Manager, you’ll act as a dedicated liaison—coordinating between birth families, foster families, service providers, and the legal system to help ensure each child’s path to permanency is clear, supported, and compassionate.

This is not just a job—it’s a career-building opportunity for those who want to grow in the field of social work while doing deeply meaningful work every day.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, and monitor permanency plans with the child’s best interest at the forefront.
  • Attend family visits, school meetings, court hearings, and team consultations.
  • Advocate for the child’s needs while navigating complex family dynamics and community resources.
  • Regularly assess child and family progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Work closely with supervisors and mentors to receive ongoing feedback, support, and development.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Experience: Prior experience working with children is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills—you can manage documentation, deadlines, and details with ease.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families, courts, and service providers.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations in the best interest of the child.

Benefits:

Paid Time Off

  • Enjoy a generous amount of leave to support your work-life balance.
