Foster Care Case Manager
Location: Columbia, MO – Primarily field-based with 1–3 days per week in-office for supervision, meetings, and team collaboration
Pay:$43,888-$46,000 based on education and years of relevant experience

As a Foster Care Case Manager, you’ll act as a dedicated liaison—coordinating between birth families, foster families, service providers, and the legal system to help ensure each child’s path to permanency is clear, supported, and compassionate.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the central point of contact for each child’s case, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration between families, legal representatives, service providers, and internal teams.
- Develop, implement, and monitor permanency plans with the child’s best interest at the forefront.
- Attend family visits, school meetings, court hearings, and team consultations.
- Advocate for the child’s needs while navigating complex family dynamics and community resources.
- Regularly assess child and family progress and adjust plans accordingly.
- Work closely with supervisors and mentors to receive ongoing feedback, support, and development.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related human services field.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong administrative and organizational skills—you can manage documentation, deadlines, and details with ease.
- Excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families, courts, and service providers.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations in the best interest of the child.
