Company Overview

Granby Industries Transport USA, LLC is the dedicated transportation division supporting TerraVest Tanks. We specialize in the safe and efficient delivery of manufactured and refurbished propane tanks to customers across the region.

Our transportation team plays a critical role in ensuring production output is delivered on time, safely, and in full compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.


Position Summary

The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing daily transportation operations, including driver scheduling, customer communication, fleet compliance, and regulatory requirements.

This role serves as the central point of coordination between production, drivers, customers, and third-party carriers to ensure efficient and compliant delivery operations.


Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation Operations & Scheduling

  • Develop and manage daily and weekly driver schedules based on production output
  • Coordinate third-party carriers as needed
  • Align dispatch schedules with manufacturing timelines
  • Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
  • Communicate schedules and updates to drivers

Customer Communication

  • Confirm delivery details, site access, and scheduling with customers
  • Provide delivery updates and estimated arrival times (ETAs)
  • Resolve delivery issues and communicate delays proactively

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers
  • Ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for use
  • Maintain inventory of required equipment (placards, securement, permits)

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations
  • Maintain cab cards, registrations, and inspection records
  • Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD data for compliance
  • Support IFTA tracking and reporting
  • Maintain driver qualification and compliance files

Documentation & Reporting

  • Review trip sheets, fuel logs, bills of lading (BOLs), and mileage
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready records
  • Track and report violations or discrepancies

Audit & Continuous Improvement

  • Review audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Identify compliance gaps and improve processes
  • Stay current with transportation regulations and best practices

Driver Onboarding Support (Administrative)

  • Ensure onboarding documentation is complete
  • Coordinate pre-employment testing and certifications
  • Maintain accurate and compliant driver records

Requirements:

QualificationsRequired

  • Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatching
  • Knowledge of JJKeller, FMCSA systems, QuickBooks, or Salesforce
  • Experience with IFTA and hazardous materials compliance

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Hours may vary based on operational needs
