AutoCAD Drafter

Location: Chelsea, MA

Hours (Flexible): 6am - 2:30pm, 7/7:30 - 3:30/4pm

• This role is for a custom metal fabrication company that specializes in all things stainless steel - primarily servicing food service, medical and industrial equipment
• They have a spacious 44,000 square foot facility located in Chelsea, MA that includes state-of-the-art, specialized manufacturing equipment to ensure precision, speed, and quality production.

Job Notes:

• Looking for a proven performer who displays proficiency with AutoCAD, manufacturing experience, and a "no-nonsense" attitude
• After the interview(s) there may be a work sample "real world" exercise that the candidate will have to complete in order to exhibit his / her skillset in AutoCAD
• Candidates must be aware that craftsmanship is what company takes top pride in. That being said, they are a deadline oriented company that has to stick to construction schedules and guidelines. Their product is purely customized and they will very rarely work on the same type of project more than once.

AutoCAD 2D Technical Drafter

Custom metal fabrication company that specializes in the manufacture of food service equipment is looking for an experienced AutoCAD 2D drafter to join our team.

Responsibilities Include:

*Create detailed shop drawings of custom cabinets, refrigerators, complex serving counters, chef lines and industrial assemblies based on blueprints, architectural details and specifications

*Revise drawings from reviewed sets

*Work with project managers and engineering team to ensure design correctly reflects customer intent.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of Strong AutoCAD 2D skills (version 2007 or newer)

*Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, architectural floor plans and specifications

*Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)

*Experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus

*Strong verbal and written communication skills

*Strict attention to detail

*Self- starter with an exceptional work ethic

*Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced team environment
