Salary Range: $61,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery and manual machine tools.
• Inspect finished parts for quality assurance, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex machining issues and machine malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize manufacturing processes and improve part design.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and basic repairs of machining equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) as a CNC Machinist, including setup and operation.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, CAM software) and advanced machine setup.
• Strong understanding of blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and precision measurement tools.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team of machinists effectively.
• Expertise in troubleshooting machining processes and ensuring quality control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks CAM, Mastercam).
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proven experience in mentoring or training junior machinists.
• Familiarity with CMM operation and advanced metrology tools.
