Locums | Urgent Care APP | No Call | Aberdeen, NCWhy This Role?

• High-volume urgent care setting with autonomy as sole provider
• Multiple locations available within a 65-mile radius of provider s residence
• Epic EMR with modified onboarding and training support
• Ongoing shift coverage

Duration: 2/1/2025 - Ongoing Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: Full-time hours; flexible scheduling based on availability and site needsClinical Details:

• Outpatient urgent care setting
• Up to 40 patients per day
• Patient age: 6 months and up
• Case types: adults and pediatrics, acute care
• Procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, minor procedures
• Sole provider model with MA and front desk support
• EMR: Epic (proficiency required; training provided)
• Support staff: Center manager, MA, PSA, urgent care techs, supervising physician offsite

Requirements:

• Board certified PA or NP (Family Nurse Practitioner required for NPs)
• Active NC license
• At least 12 months of urgent care or acute care experience
• BLS certification
• Proficient with Epic EMR
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Independent urgent care management of pediatric and adult patients
• Performance of basic procedures including I&D, suturing, and laceration repair
• EMR documentation using Epic
• Ability to manage clinic flow as sole provider
