We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for our 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation, particularly with mills. This role involves using computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform various functions, working from blueprints to create, maintain, and troubleshoot machining programs for CNC machining centers.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers.
  • Perform 4 and 5 axis programming for machining centers.
  • Read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
  • Create CNC programs for CNC machines using various CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks and GibbsCAM.
  • Perform CMM and inspection tasks.
  • Operate CNC machinery and tooling, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and GibbsCAM.
  • Five years of experience in writing CNC programs.
  • Proven experience as a CNC operator.
  • Skill in operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
  • Computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
  • Good communication abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Mazatrol Programming, Mastercam programming, Bobcam, CAM, and Fanuc.
  • Experience in prototype and setup machine operations.
  • 7+ years of proven shop machining experience with 5 years of programming experience.

Work Environment

Work in a brand new, small machine shop equipped with roughly 20 machines and staffed by about 10 employees. The facility is extremely clean and well-lit, providing a comfortable work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Brook Park, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Company pays for full health, dental & vision benefits. No 401k Program.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Brook Park,OH.
