We're Hiring: Corporate Controller

Location: Provo| Full-Time | Department: Finance | Reports to: CFO

Are you a strategic finance leader ready to take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization? Were looking for a Corporate Controller to join our executive team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company.

About the Role

As our Corporate Controller, you will oversee the full spectrum of financial operationsfrom general ledger management to cash flow optimization, contract receivables, and fixed asset accounting. You'll drive efficiency through thoughtful process improvements and ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll also be a key contributor to leadership strategy sessions and Finance Committee meetings.

What Youll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of robust accounting systems and financial policies.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and provide financial leadership across departments.
  • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and produce timely financial statements.
  • Manage audits, compliance, and regulatory reportingincluding oversight of external audit preparation.
  • Supervise the accounting, finance, and accounts payable teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure accuracy in physician shareholder equity and settlement processes.
  • Oversee contract receivables and maintain internal controls for financial integrity.
  • Champion continuous improvement in accounting processes and financial IT systems.
  • Serve as a financial mentor and trainer to leadership and operational teams across the organization.
  • Monitor and interpret key financial metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters degree preferred).
  • CPA designation or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of financial management experience, including 24 years in a healthcare setting.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and healthcare-related accounting standards.
  • Strong experience with accounting systems (Great Plains, SQL, Management Reporter) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
