Cat Scan Tech - 13 Week Contract\n\n

Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.
\n\nJob Description\n
We are seeking a Cat Scan Tech to join our team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will operate CT units and provide diagnostic images while ensuring proper patient positioning and administering contrast as needed. The position requires working directly with the Emergency Department in a level 2 trauma center, servicing an inner city community.
\n\nResponsibilities\n
- \n
- Operate CT scanners and perform diagnostic imaging procedures including General CT, Angiograms, Strokes, Trauma, and IR procedures.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients and administer contrast as necessary.
- Provide accurate imaging results to support patient care teams.
- Maintain inventory of required supplies.
- Utilize Cerner charting systems for record-keeping and documentation.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
- \n
- 1 year of experience in a Cat Scan Tech role, with trauma experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required.
- NJDEP license required.
- Experience with GE and Toshiba CT equipment is a plus.
