Your Role as a PTA
As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Human Touch, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, hands-on care that helps patients regain strength, mobility, and independence — all from the comfort of their homes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans established by the supervising PT
- Provide direct patient care to improve mobility, function, and quality of life
- Monitor and report patient progress and responses to treatment
- Educate patients and families on exercises and safety
- Document all services provided accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with the therapy team and other care professionals
What You’ll Need:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- A compassionate approach and strong commitment to patient care
- Home health experience is a plus, but not required — we’re here to support your growth
