Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, onsite position is available in Kerman, CA for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a school setting. This contract role requires candidates to have a strong background in school-based speech therapy and the ability to manage high caseloads effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students, including both general and speech-only caseloads
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, with a focus on 25-30 students receiving speech-only services
- Collaborate with SLP assistants and facilitators when available
- Utilize knowledge of Special Education Information System (SEIS) for documentation and reporting
- Support student communication needs and maintain compliance with school district policies
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC credential or be a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Minimum of 2 years of California school experience preferred
- At least 1 year of SEIS experience required
- Experience supervising SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large caseload and referrals efficiently
- Onsite availability required; remote work not applicable
- Positions available for monolingual and bilingual SLPs
