- Building Systems Analyst II: $76,000–$102,000
- Building Systems Analyst III: $88,000–$117,000
- Building Systems Specialist: $85,000–$110,000

Position Overview
\n
Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring Building Systems professionals to support commercial HVAC, building automation systems (BAS), controls, commissioning, retro-commissioning, and energy optimization projects.
\n
Candidates may be considered for Building Systems Analyst I, II, III, or Building Systems Specialist based on experience and qualifications.
\n

- Analyst roles: Focus on commissioning, system performance, facility assessments, and energy optimization.
- Specialist role: Focus on BAS programming, controls, system integration, troubleshooting, and field execution.

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize commercial HVAC, BAS, controls, and MEP systems.
- Conduct site surveys, facility assessments, system testing, and field inspections.
- Support new construction commissioning and retro-commissioning projects.
- Perform functional performance testing and system verification.
- Identify system deficiencies and energy-saving opportunities.
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment, controls, sensors, controllers, and BAS networks.
- Modify BAS programming, sequences of operation, and control strategies.
- Support BAS integration, startup, configuration, and optimization.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and commissioning documentation.
- Prepare technical reports, testing records, and issue logs.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, project managers, controls vendors, and facility teams.
- Support project closeout and deficiency resolution.

Qualifications
\n
Building Systems Analyst I / II / III
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field required.
- Analyst I: 1–3+ years of relevant experience.
- Analyst II: 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Analyst III: 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Commercial HVAC, BAS, controls, commissioning, or MEP experience.
- Retro-commissioning or new construction commissioning experience preferred.
- Healthcare, higher education, government, or large commercial facility experience preferred.
- CxAlloy or similar commissioning software preferred.

Building Systems Specialist
\n

- 5+ years of BAS controls, HVAC controls, or commercial building automation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- BAS programming and system integration experience.
- Commercial construction experience preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC and controls systems.
- Experience with Siemens, JCI, Honeywell, Trane, Schneider Electric/StruxureWare, or Tridium Niagara preferred.
- AutoCAD preferred.
