An established construction company based in Suffolk County is seeking a Front Desk Administrative Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a receptionist focused administrative role, serving as the first point of contact while providing office support.
Fully on-site in Suffolk County
M-F 8am - 4pm
Salary - $50-60K
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and common office areas, promoting a professional environment.
- Provide administrative support to project teams, leadership, and office management as needed.
- Assist with document preparation, scanning, copying, and filing tasks to ensure organized records.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring timely communication and preparation.
- Take meeting notes and distribute them to relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Support overall office operations and perform additional tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent educational background required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front desk or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with strong computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
