Job Title: Registered Nurse – Recovery Room (PACU) - Travel
Location: Falmouth, MA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:
Rotating Day Shifts
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
40 Hours Per Week (5 Days/Week)
On-Call Required
Float Required – Ambulatory Care Unit (PACU / Pre-op / Post-op)

Pay Rate: $68 - $78/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Recovery Room (PACU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care and discharge planning.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure airway management and patient safety during the recovery phase.
Serve as a charge nurse or resource nurse when required.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN License.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
PALS certification.
Successful completion of a pharmacology exam.
Basic arrhythmia competency.
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU, ER, CVICU, CVPA, SDC, or PACU experience.
Strong IV insertion, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care skills.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
