Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a safety-conscious mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Rochester, MN
Pay Range: $22.25
Shift: Rotating 12-hour days
What's the Job?
- Safely set-up and operate equipment to optimize machine capability and product output
- Apply knowledge and skill to troubleshoot and address routine equipment malfunctions
- Check for defects or malfunctions that may affect product quality
- Follow safety policies, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or similar roles
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of machinery and equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
