Bookkeeper
Lakewood, NJ - FULL TIME Onsite

Position Overview
This is not a data entry role. We're looking for full-charge bookkeepers who can own the day-to-day financial operations, ensure clean books, meet deadlines, and support accurate financial reporting. You'll play a key role in helping us build an in-house finance team and streamline internal controls and systems.
- Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple entities

Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, A/R and A/P

Apply customer payments and ensure accurate receivables

Track vendor invoices and follow up as needed

Work closely with leadership to support monthly close

Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks or other accounting platforms

Assist with financial reports and projections as needed
- Ideal Candidate

Relevant bookkeeping experience

Experience in construction, trades, or contracting industries a plus

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Able to meet deadlines and follow through without supervision

Comfortable operating independently and taking full ownership of the books

Team player with a no-drama, can-do attitude
