A full-time paraprofessional position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Claremont, NH. This role involves supporting a high school student with autism within a school setting, requiring specialized experience and skills to effectively assist in the students educational and behavioral development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one support to a high school student with autism.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, including discrete trial training.
- Assist in managing and understanding behavioral needs to promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt instructional materials and ensure an inclusive environment.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the educational team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in schools.
- Proficient in ABA strategies, particularly discrete trials and behavior management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work full-time, approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week.
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students with special needs.

Contract Details:
