Hellerstein & Brenner Vision Center is a premier, full-service optometry practice located in Greenwood Village, CO. We are currently seeking a full-time Optician to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients of all ages with eyewear selection and fittings
- Operate a lensometer and other optical tools to ensure accurate prescriptions and proper fittings
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and frame styles
- Answer and return patient phone calls regarding order status and purchase concerns
- Maintain optical displays, restock merchandise, and keep the optical area clean and organized
- Collaborate with doctors and staff to provide exceptional patient service
- Work toward optical sales goals, including sunglasses, specialty items, and accessories
- Troubleshoot complex prescriptions, including prism
- Verify and bill vision insurance
Qualifications
- ABO certification preferred, but not required
- Minimum of one year of optician experience required
- Experience with eyewear repairs and adjustments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge with other opticians
