Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Baltimore is seeking an experienced dual role candidate to fill the of the following full-time positions:
Matterport Specialist: This team member will scan residential, institutional and commercial projects throughout the Baltimore area and surrounding counties. You will be responsible for scoping, scanning, sketching, and documenting affected areas of a loss so that accurate estimates can be written and provided to the carrier. You will also be responsible for creating, documenting, and training Matterport procedures/responsibilities for a mitigation technician role if not already created.
Asbestos Bulk Sampling Technician: (Asbestos Bulk Sampling Certification Required)
This team member will collect, document, and submit asbestos bulk samples in accordance with applicable federal and local (EPA/MDE) jurisdiction guidelines. Upon receiving results – sampler is to provide, upload, and interpret the results. Sampler is also responsible for advising on the interpretation of what type of samples are needed based on necessary scope and existing conditions.
Requirements:
Matterport Specialist:
· Accurately scan losses with the appropriate number of scans so that a loss can be measured
· Provide scans that include continuous affected areas such as floors and ceilings
· Provide visible scans that have the appropriate amount of light
· Provide scans that include appropriate heights in relation to the scope
· Preform Hovers when necessary – Including all Travelers assignments
· Order Eagleviews when necessary
· Accurately capture close up scope photos and detailed scope notes
· Create and distribute additional responsibilities/procedures for a Matterport Technician Position (if note already created)
· Train Matterport to other individuals throughout the organization
Asbestos Bulk Sampling Technician:
· Review schedule and corresponding job numbers on T-Sheets to determine site of inspection.
· Review instructions, corresponding job notes, and maintain direct communication with Project Managers to determine potential Asbestos-Containing Building Materials (ACBM) that may be disturbed during mitigation and or repairs scope.
· Preform lead swab testing when potential lead-based paint may be disturbed during mitigation and or repairs scope.
· Maintain, inventory, and order tools, PPE, shipping supplies, and chain of customer documentation in order to prevent delays in service.
· Properly document and label samples on job site.
· Note RMS file of materials sampled, room in which sampled, and when samples took place.
· Neatly and legibly fill out chain of custody, package samples, and ship to laboratory for analysis within a timely manner.
· Ensure results are received. Relay any laboratory delays in job file to necessary parties (External & Internal)
· Upload results to job file and tag parties when uploaded.
· Notate all results in RMS based on material and room affected and/or not affected. Tag parties when notated.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in residential and commercial construction
· Valid Driver’s License required
· Asbestos Bulk Sampling Certification Preferred
· Strong Documentation skills
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Critical thinking, analytical, organizational skills, problem-solving and relationship building
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Ability to use basic office equipment (scanner, printer, phone system, computers)
· Ability to communicate with customers over the phone and face to face
· Ability to follow safety guidelines
· Ability to perform minor manual labor tasks, such as but not limited to, cutting/removing drywall, removing floor, climbing a ladder, etc.
