Job Description

Trinity Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate advanced practice provider who will work with the in-patient psychiatry team. Join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team at our inpatient psychiatric unit located on the 3rd floor of Trinity Hospital St. Josephs. This 26-bed facility provides acute psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Practice Details:

• Join an advanced team with 2 skilled psychiatrists and 2 advanced practice providers.
• Patient census: 10-14 patients per day.
• Schedule includes 14 days on/14 days off and on call.
• Trinity Riverside aims to serve all ages of the population. Children, adolescents, and adult populations required.
• Collaborative efforts with nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, and clinical social workers/counselors are encouraged to provide a wide range of knowledge and understanding to round patient care into one facility.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Common Diagnoses: MDD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, conduct disorders (adolescents), and comorbid substance use disorders

Qualifications:

• Family Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in psychiatric mental health.
• Licensed to practice in the state of North Dakota.
• Certifications to practice include CPR, BLS, ACLS.
• Previous experience in psychiatric care is preferred but not always required.
