How You’ll Make an Impact
OSP (Outside Process) Associate is responsible for preparing and preserving all applicable paperwork and documentation for product and shipments moving to and from outside vendors. They will have the capability to provide daily support to the Purchasing Agent/Receiving Supervisor. This position requires a high degree of concentration and accuracy.
What you’ll be doing as a OSP Associate:
- Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.
- OSP Shipping:
- Prepare products and materials for outbound shipments, ensuring they are securely packaged and labeled correctly.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.
- Verify shipping documents, including packing lists and bills of lading, for accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks, as needed, to facilitate the shipping process.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- OSP Receiving:
- Receive incoming materials, products, and components, and inspect them for quality and accuracy.
- Compare received items to purchase orders and packing lists to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to received materials.
- Ensure the proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with the quality team to address and resolve issues.
- Participate in quality control audits and assist in continuous improvement efforts.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with quality and safety protocols within the operations department.
- OSP Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in periodic physical inventory counts.
- Communicate inventory levels and shortages to the Purchasing Agent/Receiving Supervisor
- Ensure the efficient utilization of warehouse space.
- Other:
- Backup the Forklift and Driver when needed.
- Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities, and ensures that personnel within the Materials department comply as well.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):
- Motivated, dependable individual who exhibits a strong attention to detail and accurate counting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Able to excel in an environment with fast-paced periods of intense deadlines and fluctuating workload.
- Team player with a positive “can-do” attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):
- 2 years of experience in shipping, packing parts, and QA Receiving.
- Knowledge of OSP materials and consumables (preferred but not required).

Work Environment:
A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold. The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc. Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, long-term disability and 401(k) with up to 6% QACA company match.
The OSP Associate Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $20/hr-$22/hr commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
