1st Shift / Mon – Fri / 8:00am – 5:00pm
$23.00 - $28.00 /per hr (Based on Experience)
Simpsonville / Fountain Inn, SC Area

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a proactive and resilient Accounts Receivable Clerk on behalf of a major player in the automotive recycling and salvage industry.


This is not a "polished" corporate office role. We are looking for a professional who is comfortable working in a rugged, salvage yard environment. While the office areas are functional and climate-controlled, the yard is busy, dirty, and fast-paced. If you are someone who values a straightforward, "get-it-done" culture and has the financial chops to match, you will thrive here.

Accounts Receivable Clerk Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the accurate management of billing operations across multiple locations, ensuring that all revenue is captured and documented with precision.

  • Invoicing: Generate accurate and timely invoices for assigned locations, ensuring all salvage and parts sales are accounted for.
  • System Integration: Navigate multiple software systems and specialized customer portals to streamline complex billing processes.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Analyze and correct errors in billing statements by collaborating with both internal yard teams and external customers.
  • Collections & Communication: Provide proactive billing updates and professional customer service to resolve payment issues and minimize aging accounts.
  • Audit Support: Maintain highly organized digital and physical records to support internal audits and financial reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Adapt quickly to new systems and offer solutions to increase efficiency in a high-volume billing cycle.


Accounts Receivable Clerk Requirements include:

  • Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable, or a closely related financial field.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks are required.
  • Work Environment Awareness: Must be comfortable working in a salvage yard environment. This is an industrial setting where the office is functional (not "polished") and the surrounding yard is a working industrial site.
  • Technical Adaptability: Proven ability to manage high-volume data entry and navigate various software platforms simultaneously.
  • Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes loud environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between "the yard" and the customer's accounting department.
