Part-time Housekeeper required for a Tribeca family starting September 1, 2025 (flexible for the right candidate). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but you will be responsible for daily upkeep of the home, daily + deep cleaning, laundry and ironing and overall organization of the home.
The family has three young children and requires this person to interact with the children on a daily basis. A warm and friendly personality is required. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who has a strong attention to detail, is reliable and who can show initiative and good instincts with daily tasks. The family is looking for someone experienced, trustworthy and with a strong work ethic who is looking for a long term commitment, with discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
The right person for this role should be a self starter, proactive and enjoy a professional work environment. The ideal candidate has worked in fully staffed homes, has a team player mentality and is a strong communicator with the family and other household employees.
Location: Tribeca, NY
Start date: No later than Sept 1, 2025
Days/times: Monday through Friday, 6am to 9am (15 hours per week)
Children: Three young children
Conditions: $30 - $35+ per hour - dependent on experience, Health Care Stipend provided through QSEHRA (Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement)
For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:
- Authorization to work in the US
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Housekeeper, 5 years + preferred
- An understanding of managing a household with children
- Readiness to help with all housekeeping and house related tasks
- Exceptional references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality and professionalism.
- Discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions - family is looking for a long term commitment and the role to grow with the right candidate
- Comfortable with pets in the home (family has one dog). Family would love someone who is open to some pet related duties (ie. occasional dog walking).
