Graphic Designer - PURE Taqueria and Sedgwick Restaurant Group
Summary of Position
This position will work closely with the President and Vice President to lead the creative development of all menu design and branding for PURE taqueria and Sedgwick Restaurant Group concepts.
This position will also be a part of a passionate, close knit marketing team and will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator, assisting with PURE Taqueria's various marketing platforms and programs, including social media, apparel, printed materials and other basic marketing functions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Designs and develops menu layouts for PURE and SRG concepts.
Coordinates all menu updates and adjustments for PURE and SRG concepts.
Designs all special event menus, updates and designs Holiday menus, and creates promotional materials including table tents, flyers, banners, posters, online marketing materials, etc.
Designs, updates, fulfills and distributes all print requests including but not limited to special card templates, business card administration, PURE training materials, etc.
Responsible for set up and distribution of all corporate and local store marketing and promotional materials
Responsible for uniform design details and assists with retail management program
Responsible for managing print shop including ordering supplies and paper, maintaining print shop spreadsheet for billing and facilitating printer maintenance
Attend in-store marketing meetings with Marketing Coordinator and store management teams to discuss goals, ideas and marketing needs
Assists with production of monthly newsletter and blog including content, production and distribution
Collaborates with Marketing Coordinator to identify new approaches to marketing campaigns and offers fresh ideas and approaches to the marketing effort
Completes special assignments as needed
Qualifications
- Adobe Suite Knowledge, skilled in illustrator, inDesign & Photoshop
- Ability to originate unique design elements and layouts that ensure consistent branding
- Firm grasp of print-production processes and related technologies
- Keen sense of typography
- Ability to execute on simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere
- Portfolio of work that includes examples of conceptual design and branding.
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Excellent Verbal Communication
- Professionalism
