Job Description
Job DescriptionDescriptionTeleSolv is hiring a seasoned Project Manager to lead a high-visibility federal Records & Information Management (RIM) program.
The role is equal parts orchestration and stewardship: you will direct a multidisciplinary contractor team, keep a firm hand on schedule, cost, quality, and risk, and serve as the senior client interface—translating mission needs into delivered outcomes.
This is an ONSITE position based in Washington, D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program leadership & client interface. Organize, direct, and manage complex, inter-related task orders; chair planning and review sessions; maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
- Delivery management. Drive conformance to program schedules and budgets; own the Project Management Plan, risk/issue logs, staffing plans, and a living deliverables/task log; oversee timely, accurate Monthly Progress Reports (technical progress, schedule status, labor/cost reporting).
- Records operations at scale. Guide enterprise records inventory and file plan development; ensure correct classification, indexing, metadata, disposition, and 100% quality checks.
- Appraisal & compliance. Oversee records appraisal against GAO policies and NARA guidance (e.g., GRS, 36 CFR, 44 U.S.C.) and ensure retention schedules meet business needs.
- Digitization leadership. Advance compliance with OMB/NARA M-19-21 and M-23-07; implement tracking to monitor milestones and performance; ensure meeting summaries and artifacts are stored with correct metadata.
- People management & QC. Provide day-to-day supervision, on-site support, coaching, scheduling, and periodic training; enforce on-site quality control and secure handling of sensitive/classified information.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years delivering program/project management support on complex, multi-workstream initiatives—preferably in federal RIM, information governance, or closely related domains.
- Professional certifications: PMP or PgMP; CRM (Institute of Certified Records Managers) or IGP (ARMA).
- Federal RIM experience within oversight, audit, or legal-adjacent environments (e.g., GAO/IG/DoJ/DoD), including chain-of-custody and litigation-hold awareness.
- Leadership of enterprise inventories, file-plan rollouts, and organization-wide training programs; experience producing role-based how-to guides and conducting new-employee orientations.
- Demonstrated success implementing M-19-21/M-23-07 transition plans and digitization tracking dashboards.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365/SharePoint, Power BI or equivalent reporting, and structured QA methods to achieve 100% document quality prior to release.
- Clearance: active Secret or TS preferred.
