Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility

Our client is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join its team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in South Kingstown, RI. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients who have physical disabilities or injuries to help them improve their mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. You will be responsible for evaluating patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Utilize various techniques and modalities to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their therapy at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Current CPR certification
