Position Overview:
Ridgefield School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for the 20252026 academic year. This is a full-time, onsite position with a caseload focused on preschool-aged children (3-5 years old). The successful candidate will provide critical early childhood psychological services, working with a team of educators, parents, and specialists to foster positive developmental outcomes for young children.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for children ages 3-5 to support early intervention and development

Develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions to address developmental, academic, and behavioral needs

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design and monitor effective educational and behavioral plans

Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings, to ensure appropriate services and supports are provided

Provide consultation and training to staff and parents on early childhood development and behavior management

Offer crisis intervention and support as needed

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:

Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification with a School Psychologist endorsement

Current Washington State Psychologist License

Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Compensation:
-
Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and aligns with the districts salary schedule for certified staff.
