Job Description
Join our team where you will start in the Shipping department for 2-3 days to understand our day-to-day operations. After completing this training, you will transition to your assigned position, whether it be Saw Operating, General Labor, Shipping, or Forklift Operating.
Responsibilities
- Pull materials to place on the saw.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Read tape measures accurately.
- Understand and apply simple math.
- Lift 50 lbs constantly.
- Complete training and become certified on a forklift.
- Maintain a high level of work ethic in a hands-on job.
Essential Skills
- Experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in material handling.
- Proficiency with measuring tools, especially tape measures.
- Forklift experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction, production, or concrete work.
- Familiarity with power tools.

Work Environment
Experience a very clean and well-lit work environment. Be prepared to be on your feet for 8 hours a day, with repetitive lifting. Our busiest time is from 2-5:30 PM when all shipments leave the facility. We offer a 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and a 2nd shift currently from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, with plans to eventually shift to 1 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
