Job Description
The Human Resource Generalist will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including onboarding, policy implementation, and employee engagement. This role will interface with the HR Coordination team, the HRBP team, stakeholders in the business and employees.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees the onboarding process, in collaboration with the HR Coordination team.
- Welcomes new joiners for assigned business units and manages their onboarding experience/orientation.
- Completes exit interviews, tracks trends, and makes recommendations on the analysis as needed.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including process improvement, automations, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Supports employee engagement initiative by providing analysis to our leaders and supplies information for board reporting. Provides guidance, recommendations, and outlines areas where improvement is possible.
- Provides analysis (onboarding, offboarding, engagement, and various ad hoc) for HRBP, stakeholders, and HR leadership.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Manages incident/accident reporting with our workers compensation carrier, employee and safety representative.
- Conducts climate assessments and stay interviews with employees to gather insights on workplace satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Handles accommodation requests to ensure compliance with legal requirements and support employees’ needs for a productive work environment.
- Serves as the HR department’s representative at town hall meetings, presenting key updates, reminders, and initiatives while ensuring clear and engaging communication with employees.
- Oversees and manages the internal availability list process, while coordinating communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Performs SOX compliance audits as required.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
*In-office working at a T&T office is required two to three days out of the work week*

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two years of human resource management experience within a corporate environment is preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
