The USAC Portfolio Marketing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the marketing and commercialization efforts for our product portfolio. This role requires strong project management skills to ensure seamless execution and alignment across various functions. This position will focus on managing and optimizing various aspects of the product lifecycle, including MCE (Material Create Extension), SKU set-up, pricing approvals, Salesforce.com (SFDC) management, sample coordination, website updates, and packaging and labeling processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects to ensure timely and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
2. Material Create Extension (MCE):
- Facilitate the MCE process to ensure timely and accurate creation and extension of materials across systems.
- Collaborate with product management and supply chain teams to streamline MCE workflows.
3. SKU Set-Up:
- Manage the SKU creation process, ensuring accurate and timely set-up in the system.
- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and inventory management.
4. Pricing Approvals:
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies.
- Coordinate pricing approvals and ensure compliance with company policies and market conditions.
5. Salesforce.com (SFDC) Management:
- Maintain and update product information in SFDC to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Generate reports and insights to track product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Sample Coordination:
- Manage the sample request process, ensuring timely delivery to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Track sample usage and effectiveness to optimize future sample distribution.
7. Packaging and Labeling:
- Collaborate with design and regulatory teams to develop packaging and labeling that meet brand and compliance standards.
- Ensure timely updates and revisions to packaging and labeling as needed.
8. Dispenser Install Coordination
- Get quotes from installation vendors to hand 3M Flow Control dispensers. Coordinate with sales rep and company on available times and dates. Create Candex for payment to vender.
9. Back-order report
- Post backorder report weekly into Teams room. Work with planners to ensure content is updated for team to use.
10. Data Updates to Website
- Coordinate master data updates for regulatory changes, inaccurate information or product changes with master data team and Workfront tickets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Product / Portfolio management experience
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, product management, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other CRM or marketing automation tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of SKU management and pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with packaging and labeling regulations and standards.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Experience with Workfront tickets.
