Scope of Work: The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and ensure that all maintenance activities meet customer, company, and regulatory quality standards through effective quality control and continuous improvement practices.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain quality standards for maintenance in alignment with customer requirements.
- Conduct inspections to monitor and ensure consistent quality across operations.
- Review inspection results and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive technical data reference library and report any deficiencies as required.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports for submission to the customer and Project Manager.
- Oversee the Quality Control Program and serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related matters.
- Manage and implement the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan (CQCP).
- Coordinate with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) regarding performance evaluations.
- Investigate customer complaints, implement corrective actions, monitor effectiveness, and document results for the COR per contract requirements.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and contract performance goals are met.
 Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in one or more of the following roles on projects of comparable size, scope, and complexity: Superintendent, Quality Control Manager Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
- At least 5 years of direct experience serving as a Quality Control Manager on similar contracts.
- Current CMQ/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) certification is required.
- Successful completion of the Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors course with a valid certificate.
- Working knowledge of USACE EM 385-1-1 requirements, particularly related to hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Public Trust background check.
- Ability to maintain government worksite access authorization.
- Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record per company policy.
Physical Demands / Work Environment: This position is primarily office-based but requires regular site visits and field inspections. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active worksites safely. This may involve standing, walking, bending, or climbing for extended periods while wearing required PPE. The role may require on-call availability, alternate shifts, extended hours, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and a 5-panel drug test, per company policy and applicable laws.
