Location: Brooklyn, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 5 Days/Week

Pay:

• Local: $40–$50/hr (~$1,500–$1,875/week)

• Travel: $50–$60/hr incl. stipend (~$1,875–$2,250/week)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a fast-paced Operating Room. The CST works under RN supervision to maintain sterile technique, ensure patient safety, and assist surgeons throughout procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and sterile field setup

• Maintain strict aseptic technique and address contamination immediately

• Assist with patient positioning, draping, transfers, and safety monitoring

• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts with circulating nurse

• Prepare and label medications on the sterile field under RN supervision

• Assist with specimen handling, room turnover, and equipment decontamination

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required)

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

• Active National CST Certification (required)

• Prior Operating Room experience preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to stand for long periods
