HR Onboarding Specialist (Bilingual)

As an Onboarding Specialist, you will perform a variety of HR-related tasks that support new staff and contribute to the company’s goals. You’ll be responsible for managing the onboarding process, assisting new hires, maintaining compliance, and facilitating a smooth transition into their roles.
Key Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
- Launch and manage onboarding tasks through the HRIS system
- Support new employees throughout the onboarding process
- Schedule and host New Hire Orientation sessions
- Complete I-9 verifications in accordance with federal guidelines
- Facilitate onboarding for pre-approved providers and rehires
- Schedule and track new hire training requirements
- Maintain accurate and secure electronic employee files and records
- Initiate and follow up on background checks
- Format and prepare internal and external communications such as memos, emails, presentations, and reports
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Organize and safeguard confidential employee documentation
Qualifications:
- Prior HR or office management experience required
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, scheduling, or office administration
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve conflicts effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of confidentiality standards and HIPAA compliance

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week in the office from 8:30am - 5:30pm. The office is located in Newberg OR.
