Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a contract position for the current school year. This role is based in Dover, PA, serving a K-12 educational setting. The position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by addressing the psychological and educational needs of students across all grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support to students to promote social-emotional learning and mental health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavior management as needed
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for K-12 educational settings
- Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
